At the first meeting of the 7th General Assembly of Guangdong Port Association held on November 17, 2010, Chairman Zhang Haitao of the company was unanimously approved and re-elected as the new vice President of Guangdong Port Association.

       Guangdong Port Association is a provincial port industry association in Guangdong province. It is an industrial and non-profit social organization voluntarily organized by port enterprises, relevant scientific research institutions and related units in order to maintain common legitimate economic interests. It has a strong representative industry among ports in Guangdong. Since founded in October 1984, the association adhere to service port industry, service members, maintaining the legitimate rights and interests, promoting the port for the purpose of economic development, the construction of honesty and self-discipline, maintain normal order of port, forming fair and orderly competition environment, establish a good image of port industry, membership of government departments and industry, as well as the industry, closely linked to members and the public, service convenience, the characteristic of industry association, is deep the general members of love and attention of society, now has nearly more than 80 member companies.

       Over the years, zhang haitao, chairman of actively participate in the work of the association, and give full play to its political participation function, as a representative of the National People's Congress of guangdong province successively to the relevant government departments to submit the reasonable layout of the second port, port enterprise tax burden, speed up the development of inland river shipping industry in our province and so on, the relevant government departments to attaches great importance to the question.
