On the morning of August 10, our company sent 131 militiamen on behalf of The Shunde District Armed Forces Department to participate in the "Foshan Militia Asian Games Security readiness Drill and Pledge division mobilization Meeting" organized by the Foshan Military Sub-division. Huang Shanchun, deputy political commissar of The Provincial Military Region, Wu Zhi, commander of the Foshan Military Region, Liu Qiangqiang, political commissar of the Foshan Military Region, Vice Mayor Mai Jiehua, leaders of the armed forces department of Chancheng District, Nanhai District, Shunde District, Gaoming District, Sanshui District and Secretary of the General Branch of the Party zhang Haitao attended the meeting.
On behalf of the militia in Shunde district, the subjects of our company's militia training are men's riot stick and women's arresting fist. Among them, 24 women militiamen performed a combative boxing practice, and the performance was greeted with applause. In a group of male militia troops, the female militiamen are no match for men and men. They perform actual combat exercises such as straight boxing, swinging boxing, hooking boxing and punching boxing. The short 4-minute exercise aroused 5 warm applause on the scene.
The city of Foshan will host boxing and synchronized swimming events during the Guangzhou Asian Games. More than 600 foshan militia will be responsible for security around the venues, including fighting terrorism, maintaining stability and dealing with emergencies. It is understood that this is also the first time for our female militia to represent Foshan city in an international competition.
